High Performance Felt Systems
High performance felt is the traditional covering for flat roofs and has been used in the roofing industry for over 50 years. It is impenetrable when installed correctly and gives an attractive finish. Although the membrane itself has changed slightly over the years, it largely remains a product made from bitumen (asphalt or coal-tar pitch). In our opinion high performance felt has stood up to all newcomers and is still the best material for the job.
The benefits of felt roofing for the consumer are its low cost and good performance. High performance felt is on average much cheaper than newer roofing systems, such as fibreglass, and offers performance that is comparable when installed properly.
It is also quick to install and can be replaced quickly if needs be.
High performance felt comes in a 3-layer system with a mineral cap sheet, with no need for the old stone chippings which hold moss, debris, and unnecessary added weight. High performance felt is available with manufacturer’s guarantees ranging from 18 to 60 years.

Liquid Roofing Systems
Proteus Pro-System® Plus is a high-performance cold-applied waterproofing membrane for pitched roofs, flat roofs, and a waterproofing coating to Proteus’ Built-Up Roof systems. Made in the UK &BBA Certified.
Proteus Pro-System® Plus does not wear away or yellow with age. It uses atmospheric moisture to trigger its cure process, and unlike conventional polyurethane systems can cure underwater without gas or foam. It also becomes resistant to rain damage; therefore, it can be applied in relatively poor weather without any loss of performance or durability. It cures to provide flawless waterproof protection and has exceptional thermal and UV stability, making it suitable for use in all climates.
